The Benchmade 4170BK Auto Fact is a striking spring knife that combines the style of an Italian stiletto with the functionality of an edc knife and the reliability of tactical knives. American tool steel The knife has a slim 100mm long blade, made of elite CPM-S90V stainless steel, which is subjected to the optimal hardening for edc knives to a hardness of 59-61 HRC. CPM-S90V is a luxurious stainless steel with a very high vanadium and carbon content, which makes the blade unusually have excellent retention, and is highly resistant to abrasion and corrosion. When choosing a hard steel knife, get a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient. Utility head The utilitarian spear point profile blade is coated with a black DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) protective coating.
