The Benchmade Infidel 3300BK is an automatic tactical knife , featuring a D2 tool steel blade, a large deployment button and an aircraft-grade milled aluminum handle . The Benchmade Infidel 3300BK is a large OTF (out of front) automatic knife , designed for uniformed services and everyday use. Tactical head The knife has a slim dagger profile head, made of hard D2 tool steel hardened to 60-62 HRC . D2 is the most corrosion-resistant carbon steel, which features high abrasion resistance, long retention of working sharpness and aggressive cutting . When choosing a knife made of such steel, it is worth getting a diamond sharpener, as sharpening with a standard ceramic whetstone can be very labor-intensive and inefficient. The blade has two cutting edges and an aggressive h ilt, so it penetrates easily and has good cutting properties. The blade is coated with black Teflon , which partially protects the blade from scratches and corrosion and emphasizes the tactical nature of the knife. Instant unfolding The blade is unfolded by sliding the mottled slider forward, folding only requires reversing the slider in the opposite direction. The button has deep milling, so the knife can also be operated with gloves.
